Introducing Kiwiana, a contemporary collection inspired by the distinctive landscapes, flora and fauna of Aotearoa New Zealand. Designed entirely in-house, the collection brings together nīkau palms, kiwi, kākā, pīwakawaka, mānuka and the Remarkables in intricate knitted designs, reimagining familiar symbols of New Zealand in a modern, wearable way.

Made entirely in New Zealand, Kiwiana is crafted from local yarns and signature blend of 40% possum down, 40% cashmere and 20% mulberry silk. The collection also pushes the possibilities of Ahipao’s 3D knitting technology, creating intricate full-garment patterns across jackets, jumpers, scarves, blankets and wraps. More than a celebration of Kiwiana, the collection is designed to capture a sense of place, memory and connection to Aotearoa.
