MOSAICS OF MEMORY - JODY RALLAH
Jody Rallah is a Yuggera, Yugarabul, and Biri artist from Magandjin, Brisbane. Her multidisciplinary practice is guided by deep reverence for materials, for place, and for knowledge carried between generations.
During her three month residency programme on Waiheke Art Gallery, Jody has connected with Māori, mana whenua, artists, and creatives. These conversations are grounded in respect as she learns to work with the materials of the whenua.
We are honoured to dress Jody during her time at Waiheke Island, where she has connected with artists and makers across Te Motu. It has been a time of learning and connection for Jody and for the community.
This shoot marks the end of her residency project, Mosaics of Memory, and our Spring Edition, a gentle introduction to our collection of pure, light cashmere.
